When she was four-months-old, Glenda jumped out of her pen and caught her leg, tragically breaking her rear leg. She was so active that we couldn't keep a splint or cast on her for long. After four months of many issues and problems with her leg, the Lord healed it and now it is difficult to detect that she ever broke her leg. Even the judges at the fairs don't notice any difference in her leg. Glenda is a tall, elegant doe and abounds in dairy character and style. She has correct conformation but could be a bit more level over the rump and topline. Glenda has a nice udder with perfectly placed teats and nice medial division. Wow, this girl is so easy to milk and is a favorite at our farm. I don't think you can find much flashier color . . . |

![]() Born: 3/24/08 Height: 21 1/4" Registered: ADGA, AGS polled Divinity is just as sweet as her "candy name" and loves to be in the show ring. She was shown six times as a milking yearling in June 2009 and was first in her class every single time. The judges were all very impressed with her had wonderful comments about her mammary system and general appearance. Wow, look at her level rump and beautiful topline! If I could improve on her conformation, I would give her stronger pasterns and tighter toes but they certainly aren't bad. Divinity loves her feed and we have to watch her weight so her "dairy character" doesn't disappear under a layer of "fluff". Although her teats are fairly small, she is easy enough to hand milk and is an angel on the milking stand. Divinity is both a productive and persistant milk producer, peaking at over four pounds of milk per day and then producing a quart a day for many months with once-a-day milking. Look for this pretty white gal in the show ring in years to come. She is a great little all-around doe! |

She is one of Shiraz's oldest daughters and has the same mellow and curious personality. Twila has correct conformation and has the dairy character I look for in my does. Like her dam, Twila has a high and wide rear udder attachment with big, well placed teats. Actually, Twila's udder is well attached all around. Twila is a breeze to milk and is showing nice capacity as a third freshener. Her teats point a bit forward, right into the milk bucket. |

first freshening 2-year-old - 2010
Born: 2/14/08 Height: 21 1/2" Registered: ADGA, AGS Autumn took awhile to mature and to want love and attention, but now she is finding a special place in my heart. This pretty gold doe is stylish and very smoothly blended. It is a fun bonus that she is blue eyed and polled. When Autumn freshened, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only is her udder very well attached, both fore and rear, it is also capacious for a first freshener. She has proved to be a persistant producer as well. I didn't expect such large, easy to milk teats so I have no complaints about her mammary system. One judge used Autumn as an example to explain to the audience what a high and wide rear udder attachment should look like. Like any goat, Autumn isn't perfect. I am very picky about hind quarters so I am going to mention a couple minor weaknesses. Autumn could be more level in the rump from hips to pins and I would prefer a stonger, wider rear leg set. Despite my comments, I love this doe and I am thrilled to have her as part of my herd. |

![]() Born: 3/1/09 Height: 19" Registered: ADGA I always wanted a pure black doe and here she is! Malaysia is exquisite from head to toe and shows a lot of promise. She has a little bit of an attitude like her dam but I can overlook that. Malaysia has correct conformation and is smoothly blended with nice general appearance. She freshened as a yearling with an impressive mammary system and has been a joy to milk. Her attachments, medial division, teat size and placement were all just what I hoped for. This black beauty was shown seven times as a yearling milker and only had another doe place ahead of her twice; and one time it was her half sister, Serenity. I guess Malaysia could be a little more elegant and have tighter toes, but that is getting pretty trivial. Many Nigerian fans know Malaysia by name and watch for her in the show ring. I think she will be even more fun to watch next year. |

Born: 5/8/09 Registered: ADGA polled Serenity is a fancy girl that started her show career with first place in the junior doe class at the 2009 Oregon State Fair. This pretty young doe has a long bone pattern with tons of dairy character and style. As is evident in her photo above, Serenity has a long and level rump with nice rear leg angulation. Ideally, I would like to see Serenity have shorter pasterns and maybe be an inch shorter in height overall. It is a rare blessing to have a yearling freshen with such long and easy to milk teats. As you can see, Serenity's teat placement and medial division are excellent. I am also happy with her high and wide rear udder attachment. Her foreudder, when very full does tend to have a shelf so I will breed her to bucks that are strong genetically in that area. This refined and elegant young lady is an angel on the milk stand and is producing very well for a yearling. I wish I had saved some Wave Runner daughters for my herd years ago. |
