When she was four-months-old, Glenda jumped out of her pen and caught her leg, tragically breaking her rear leg. She was so active that we couldn't keep a splint or cast on her for long. After four months of many issues and problems with her leg, the Lord healed it and now it is difficult to detect that she ever broke her leg. Even the judges at the fairs don't notice any difference in her leg. Glenda is a tall, elegant doe and abounds in dairy character and style. She has correct conformation but could be a bit more level over the rump and topline. Glenda has a nice udder with perfectly placed teats and nice medial division. Wow, this girl is so easy to milk and is a favorite at our farm. I don't think you can find much flashier color . . . |

![]() Born: 3/24/08 Height: 21 1/4" Registered: ADGA, AGS polled Divinity is just as sweet as her "candy name" and loves to be in the show ring. She was shown six times as a milking yearling in June 2009 and was first in her class every single time. The judges were all very impressed with her had wonderful comments about her udder and conformation both. If I could improve on her conformation, I would give her stronger pasterns but they certainly aren't bad. Look for this pretty little gal in the show ring in years to come. Although her teats are fairly small, she is easy to milk and is an angel on the milking stand. She is a great little all-around doe! Update: Wow, Divinity knows she is a milk goat and has impressive capacity and production as a second freshener. New udder photo coming soon. |

![]() Born: 3/25/07 Registered: ADGA "Pooka" was born a quintuplet, with four big brothers. She left our farm as a bottle baby years ago and is back on an extended visit. Pooka is Glenda's little sister and we see some similarities between the two. Pooka is very dairy and has nice sharp withers and tight shoulders. I like everything about this tiny doe's conformation but feel she could benefit from tighter toes. I am waiting to see her mammary system, I can only hope it resembles that of her her big sister. |

![]() ![]() Born: 9/10/06 Registered: ADGA blue eyed Twila is visiting for a year or two and we are happy to have her back. She is one of Shiraz's oldest daughters and has the same mellow and curious personality. Twila has correct conformation and has the dairy character I look for in my does. Like her dam, Twila has a high and wide rear udder attachment with big, well placed teats. Actually, Twila's udder is well attached all around. Twila is a breeze to milk and is showing nice capacity as a third freshener. Her teats point a bit forward, right into the milk bucket. |

![]() Born: 9/13/06 Height: 22" Registered: ADGA blue eyed As you can see, Porsche excels in the "body capacity" section of the dairy goat score card. She loves her feed and thankfully she is great at converting it into lots of milk. She actually has excellent dairy character had nice general appearance as well. I think Porsche has one of the widest and most level rumps in my herd. If I could change a little about Porsche's conformation, I would give her tighter hooves and shoulders. Wow, this gal is easy to milk and sure knows she is a dairy goat. Porsche's udder attachements are okay but no longer "show quality". My daughter loves her but Porsche and I have a bit of a personality clash. You can even see her glaring at me in the picture above. This doe tends to get stubborn at times and always loves food. FOR SALE in milk in late July - $275 or bred for $350 in Sept. |

Born: 5/22/07 Registered: ADGA, AGS blue eyes Cabernet steals my heart every time I see her. This little gal absolutely loves people and attention and is so fun to have in the herd. I also love Cabernet's patriot coloring, with her dark red color, flashy white lacing, and bring blue eyes. Cabernet has wonderful conformation from head to tail and is elegant and pretty as a picture. If I get really critical, I would ideally like to see her more extended in the brisket, a little deeper in the heart girth, and a bit wider between the hocks and across the rump. She does toe out a bit in the front. Well, that is kind of hard on such a beautiful doeling! I have hopes that Cabernet freshens with an udder like her dam, Shiraz. If she does, this little doe is going to be one to watch in the show ring! |
