Check out this little doe’s pedigree! Hazel Nut is a fourth generation “star” milker with a very “uphill” stance and a beautiful udder with long, easy to milk teats. Hazel Nut is the dam of my “East Coast bred” little fellow named Zagnut and will soon be the grand-dam of many kids born on our farm. |

Born: 2/10/02 Height: 22 1/4" Registered: ADGA, AGS Like her quadruplet sister Chaebree, Desiree is a pretty special goat. First, she was our son Tacoma’s pet and has tons of personality. Desiree has been very impressive in the show ring and earned her MCH title in 2005 at the largest show in Oregon and Washington. She is also one of our favorite milking does and is a high and consistent producer. This golden girl’s conformation is smoothly blended and she is very long bodied with nice feet and legs. Her udder has awesome medial division and is well attached with an especially nice fore udder attachment. I need to get an updated udder picture because her udder is gorgeous this year and her teats no longer stick out (as shown in her first freshening udder picture). As Desiree ages, it has become evident that she could benefit from tighter shoulders. Desiree's daughter, Bianca, won Grand Champion Doe at the 2007 Oregon State Fair and also Supreme Best Udder. Her second daughter, Mercedes, also did very well and together, Desiree's daughters placed first in the Produce of Dam class. I have since traded Desiree for a very nice doe from a friend's herd. Desiree will be missed but her influence in our herd will be long lasting. |

Born: 3/27/97 Height: 19 3/4" Registered: AGS Chanel is one of those goats that you keep because you love a lot about them – despite their bad attitude. This gal detests the show ring but has done very well in limited showing, winning two AGS reserve champion ribbons. Chanel catches dairy goat enthusiast’s eyes with her awesome rear udder attachment. Although she has nice overall conformation, she could benefit from straighter front legs. Chanel is a joy to milk with her long teats and passes this trait on to her daughters. |

Born: 3/21/01 Height: 21” Registered: AGS Blue-eyed We are very happy with how our little blue-eyed "Sweetie" has developed. Sweetie has an abundance of dairy character and nice overall conformation with especially nice shoulders. Her udder is very capacious and easy to milk with a high and wide rear udder attachment. Sweetie has a short sleek hair coat and wonderful dairy skin (she is shown only dairy clipped in the photo). If I could improve her conformation, I would strengthen her feet and legs and give her a stronger fore udder attachment. Sweetie is Olivia's dam. |

| Born: 1/22/01 Height: 20" Registered: ADGA, AGS Swirl was sold to me because she had been difficult to detect in heat at her previous home and hadn't kidded in several years. Swirl no longer has issues about getting pregnant. In fact, in 2006, she blessed us with a total of five beautiful doe kids. This year, she doubled that and had 10 kids - quintuplets twice! Swirl is small and refined and mostly white in color but has the gray and tan buckskin pattern showing throughout. This doe is long bodied and level with a beautiful rear leg set. I am also happy with her style, angularity, and dairy character. I finally let her fill with milk and was thrilled with her udder. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of Swirl's udder in 2007 when it looked much better than the picture above. Not only is Swirl's udder well attached, but it is nicely shaped and is easy to hand milk. I am happy to have added a mature doe with these well known and wonderful bloodlines to my herd. To top it off, this doe has a super personality and has an incredible love for her babies (even five at a time!) We retained her 2006 daughter, Sweet Harmony, and absolutely adore her. In addition, we have Liberty Belle, a 2007 daughter. |

![]() Born: 3/13/04 Registered: AGS Zinfandel has always been a very mellow and sweet doe kid and stole my daughter, Shantelle’s heart. I am happy that Shantelle selected such a lovely doe kid to be her 4H project. Zinfandel is very long and level with wonderful feet and legs and is just beautiful to look at. I feel she inherited some nice dairy character from her sire. Zinfandel’s dam has a beautiful udder and hopefully passes that trait on to her daughter. Unfortunately, Zinfandel inherited her dam’s shoulders which could be sharper and tighter. It was a difficult decision to sell Zinfandel but she went to a great home and Shantelle is keeping her daughter, Shiraz. Shiraz doesn't have wonderful conformation like Zinfandel but we are hoping for an udder similar to her MCH grand-dam, Dakota. |

| Click on small photo for larger image Born: 11/16/97 Height: 19.5" Venice is a powerful, older style doe that I owned for several years. I showed Venice twice and both times she won “Best Udder” and one time she also won an AGS championship leg. Venice would be improved with a more level rump, tighter shoulders, and greater refinement. However, she excelled as a brood doe, producing many quality kids. A few favorites include MCH Inavale Paradigm E, Camanna MQ Midnight Hourglass, and Paris, her lovely young daughter in our herd. |

Born: 1/22/01 Height: 21" Registered: ADGA, AGS Sensation, a black and tan buckskin doe with lacey white, was a new addition to our herd this past fall. I have watched Sensation over the years and have always been impressed with her. Sensation had a pretty long neck and lots of dairy character. She has sharp withers, tight shoulders, a level back, and plenty of depth, width, and length. Her mammary system is wonderful with a well attached udder, nice medial division, and perfectly placed, very long, easy to milk teats. If I could change anything about Sensation, I would bless her with a more refined head, although her kids have beautiful heads.

Born: 2/14/02 Angela personality and color stole our hearts the moment she was born on Valentine's Day. Angela is very dairy with sharp shoulders, thin skin, and flat ribbing. She is also wide and deep bodied with a lot of style and great feet and legs. Although Angela's udder can’t compete with her dam, Chanel’s udder, it is still a decent udder with long, easy-to-milk, well placed teats. Anglea won her junior GCH leg in her first show at 2 1/2 months of age. I never planned to sell this favorite doe but a lady I know wanted a gentle, easy doe to milk doe and Angela fit the descripton perfectly. I still own two of Angela's gorgerous daughters: Blue Delilah, a yearling, and her polled doe kid, Fancy Free. |

Born: 3/7/02 Registered: ADGA, AGS Molasses, or Lassie as we call her, arrived last fall and was a trade for our finished champion doe, Desiree. I admire Lassie's uphill way of standing, her strong, tight shoulders and sharp withers, and her awesome dairy character, including an elegant long neck. Lassie stands on good feet and legs and has a well extended brisket. If I could change something about this pretty girl, I would straighten out her rear legs - she tends to toe out a bit. Now that Lassie has freshened, I am happy to report that her udder is well attahced with good capacity and teat placement. I plan to retain Lassie's 2008 daughter, "Say Your Prayers" in my herd. |

Born: 3/29/02 Height: 19 1/2" Registered: ADGA, AGS “Tessa” had been living next door, but because of my neighbor’s failing health, we adopted this pretty, blue-eyed golden girl. Tessa is another Megabuck daughter and shows his correct and smoothly blended conformation. Like her dam, HBF Clio, Tessa is a petite and refined doe. Tessa is one of my "super producers" and is a high and persistant milk producer. In the photos above, Tessa had lost much of her udder capacity and the rear udder wasn't full. However, when full, Tessa's udder is quite impressive. Although Tessa's teats could be a bit larger, she is still easy to hand milk. Tessa has an excellent fore udder and great all around attachements. I am happy to add this blue-eyed doe to my herd and my neighbor is happy to be able to come visit her favorite goat. Note: I believe Tessa was deficient in copper this past winter and thus her pale hair coat when clipped this spring. I gave her copper supplementation and an area that was missing hair on her side grew back in the deep red color as seen above. Later note: Tessa is now all red again! I retained Tessa's 2008 blue eyed and polled daughter, Autumn Blue Mist in my herd. |

![]() Born: 2/13/02 Height: 21 1/2" Registered: AGS Chardonnay is a plain color but none-the-less there is something about her that catches people’s eyes. Maybe it is her long body or her elegant style and pretty face. This doe loves her food so sometimes she doesn’t look as “dairy” as I would like. Ideally, I would like to see sharper and tighter shoulders on her. When I saw her second freshening udder full this year, I was impressed. Her udder is well attached, has a very pretty shape, wonderful medial division, and is developing more capacity with each freshening. Although her teats are a bit small, she is still easy enough to milk. Chardonnay is the grand-dam of one of our favorite young does, Shiraz. |

![]() Born: 2/20/00 Height: 20 1/2” Registered: AGS If she lives up to her pedigree, Encore should produce some pretty impressive kids. So far, I am impressed with Encore but I need to find the perfect sire for her kids. Encore is nicely put together and has a beautiful udder that is “high and wide”. Her teats are plenty long for easy milking and are perfectly placed. If I could change two things Encore, I would bless her with a pretty face (this picture makes her look especially unattractive) and I would give her a more correct rear leg set. I am excited add Encore’s bloodlines to my herd and thank Tembi Buckinghamfor allowing me to “talk her into” selling this lovely doe. I currently own Acapella, a three-year-old daughter out of Encore and sired by Crescendo. |

![]() Born: 7/10/03 Height: 21" Registered: ADGA, AGS Morocco is a stylish, refined, and elegant doe that is primarily black buckskin in color. She has a lot of personality and is a winning high jumper. If it weren't for her challengeing personality, this lovely doe would be on my show string. She freshened last spring with a beautiful udder that was well attahced, nicely shaped, and had perfectly placed, large milkable teats. Morocco has sharp, tight shoulders and a nice rear leg set with plenty of angulation. Her body is long, level, and has plenty of width and depth. I also have no complaints about Morocco's feet and legs and that is uncommon for my critical eye. This shiney black girl also has lovely dairy skin and a beautiful sleek coat. Morocco loves her feed and it is a bit of a challenge to keep her trim and looking like a miniature dairy goat. I kept both of Morocco's 2009 daughters sired by Wave Runner. |
